2018 Young at Heart - Senior Health & Wellness Expo Set for July 27th

Be sure to join the Ascension Council on Aging, St. Elizabeth and Friends of Ascension for the 2018 Young at Heart – Senior Health & Wellness Expo, Friday, July 27th, at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, from 8am-11am. The event is geared toward seniors 55+ and their caregivers, and will offer a number of free health and wellness resources and screenings.

The event is geared toward seniors 55+ and their caregivers, and will offer a number of free health and wellness resources and screenings.

With over 50 businesses and organizations represented, there will be something to peak the interest of seniors at any age. Come and enjoy free screenings, free demonstrations, free information, and free giveaways. There will also be complimentary breakfast refreshments and plenty of door prizes!
Young at Heart is being held in conjunction with the the Garney Gautreau Senior Sock-Hop, which will immediately follow. Participants are encouraged to stay for complimentary lunch, live music, and plenty of dancing. The sock-hop is hosted by Ascension Parish Recreation and is sponsored by St. Elizabeth and the Ascension Council on Aging.
