Help for the Uninsured
As a Catholic healthcare facility, St. Elizabeth Hospital is committed to meeting the health needs of God’s people with compassion, understanding, respect and dignity. The hospital acknowledges its responsibility to provide healthcare-related services to the community and especially to those who are unable to pay for these services.
If you do not have health insurance, our staff may help you find government or private programs that may assist you. If you are eligible for a government sponsored insurance program, we will help you through the application process, or we will refer you to an appropriate agency that can help.
If you are uninsured or do not qualify for a government sponsored insurance program, you may be eligible for free or discounted services through St. Elizabeth Hospital’s Financial Assistance Policy depending on your income level and circumstances. Depending upon eligibility, you may also be offered payment arrangements that are scheduled over time.
For additional information on payment assistance, please contact our financial counselors at (225) 621-2976.
